Melissa was excellent to work with! She was super funny and down to earth. It was very easy to build a friendship and make the wedding process even better. The initial consult was done at her house and really took the time to hear our love story and get to know us. Melissa listened to all the details of our relationship and made sure we all had the same expectations. I also made sure to give her a list of required family pictures and special pictures & she was more than willing to accommodate those requests. Melissa’s prices are a bit more than other photographers in the area…but sooooo worth the splurge. The day of our wedding, she was early and professionally dressed. She made sure we were relaxed and laughing & she even struck up conversations with our guests!!! Melissa is not afraid to try several poses/backgrounds to get the perfect shot nor did she make herself the center of attention. She is the best photographer I could have imagined. She posted same day sneak peeks and we couldn’t be happier. We are beyond anxious to get the remainder of our photographs back!

We first saw Melissa’s work when we saw photos from a friends’s wedding. Our friend said not only are her photos great, but her personality and creativity made their day even more special. We couldn’t agree more. We had Melissa do both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos and couldn’t be happier. • Had a sneak peek the night of the wedding, an extensive online preview a few weeks later, and our edited images about two months after the wedding. We loved being able to have our pictures so quickly.
• Melissa’s package gives you rights to your photos (this was a must for me in selecting a photographer) so you can print high quality images on your own through Mpix.
• Our photos turned out fabulous; we have many different shot angles and lighting, a good mix of vertical and horizontal orientations, and a nice blend of formal and candid pictures.
• The comfort level we had with Melissa (and the fun we had with her) is totally reflected in our pictures! She was able to capture our natural smiles and personalities, even with my husband who doesn’t love having his picture taken.

Melissa did our engagement photos, my boudoir photos as well as our wedding photos. She has become a dear friend and has an amazing way with a big group. I have told countless people that what makes Melissa amazing is that not only does she take great pictures, but she also knows how to keep a crowd going, even when its 100 degrees out and everyone is in tuxes and full length gowns.
